Our Story

Hi, I’m Beth — the face behind Lily’s 💕

What started as a small creative outlet during lockdown has grown into something so much more meaningful.

I first began making scrunchies using my grandma’s sewing machine, teaching myself as I went and finding a little pocket of calm in the middle of a very uncertain time. It quickly became something I loved—not just creating, but knowing something I made could bring a bit of joy to someone else’s day.

Not long after, life shifted again. I became a mum, and like so many mums know, everything else took a back seat for a while. The business paused while I focused on those early days with my babies—now 2.5 and 5—and finding my rhythm in motherhood.

Now, I’m back—with a fresh vision.

Lily’s has been re-launched with a more fun, colourful, feel-good energy. It’s all about dopamine dressing, embracing personality, and creating pieces that fit into real life—messy buns, school runs, coffee dates and all.

The name Lily’s is a little nod to my great auntie Lily, who was a seamstress. I’m lucky enough to still have some of her lace and ribbon stash, which I now use in my scrunchies—something that makes every piece feel even more special and connected to where it all began.

While scrunchies are still at the heart of what I do, I’ve started expanding into printed pieces like caps and clothing—designed with mums in mind. Think relatable, honest, sometimes cheeky slogans that make you feel seen, understood, and a little more like yourself again.

Because getting dressed shouldn’t feel like another thing on your to-do list.
It should feel fun. Easy. You.

Thank you so much for being here and supporting my small business—it truly means everything 🤍
